Horizon Habitats Pty Limited was established in 1989 and since then has built an enviable name as one of Sydney's most reputable builders.
We are a small but extremely professional firm that specialises in high quality architecturally designed new homes and alterations and additions,
in some of the most prestigious suburbs of Sydney.
We pride ourselves on offering the highest levels of service & professionalism, which continually enable us to deliver projects that exceed our
clients' expectations of time, cost & quality. We believe that a team approach always produces the best results; through working closely with our
clients & designers as well as our staff, subcontractors, & suppliers - forging a strong relationship between all parties, some of which have
lasted more than 20 years.
Together with our own team of more than 60 fulltime staff in the office & on site, coupled with a tight network of loyal subcontractors and suppliers,
we have the combined experience, expertise, & ability in order to tackle any challenge and come out with the right result at the end. Difficult access,
complicated structural requirements, & highly detailed finishes are our bread & butter!
The Horizon Habitats management structure allows us to both administrate projects extremely efficiently, but still provide the on-site attention to detail
that our clients demand. We firmly believe that even on larger projects, it's still the little things that count. We have developed a solid, robust business,
based on good financial management principles.
We take pride in our work, and enjoy working together with our clients to build their homes. We do not advertise, rather we rely on our clients to give us

At Horizon Habitats all staff are continually broadening their skill base and acquiring licences and courses to be able to provide a more professional
service to our clients. We currently hold the following licences or accreditations:
- Building Contractor’s Licence (Lic. #50218C)
- Demolition Licence under the OH&S Regulation, 2001 & AS2601
- Bonded Asbestos Removal
- 1st Aid & Senior First Aid
- Waterproofing
- Basic Scaffolding
- Pest control
- Traffic Control
- Electrical test & tag
We hold certificates of Currency in the following areas:
- Home Owners Warranty Insurance, through QBE,
- Workers Compensation Insurance through the GIO, and
- Public Liability Insurance up to $20 Million through QBE.
Horizon Habitats has a OH&S Management system in place. The system relies on work method statements to highlight generic and site specific hazards and to
produce a Project Safety Plan. All employees have certificates in OH&S induction, from the Workcover Authority and the MBA of NSW.
